LETISHIA SILVA OF IDAHO

Born and raised in Idaho, I love this state and care deeply about our community. My parents, an educator and a carpenter, taught me the value of education, hard work, and integrity. Growing up in a rural area, public education was important to me, and I am passionate about supporting it. I understand the challenges teachers face—limited resources, lack of support, and high pressure to help every child succeed. Their resilience keeps our communities strong and our children hopeful.

I am dedicated to ensuring equality and equity within District 13. Hate and fear have only divided us, and it’s upsetting to see our current leadership push national issues into our communities when the current state of our great state is broken. Using manipulation and scare tactics to separate Idaho families and communities is unacceptable; ordering voters around like troops is unacceptable. Make no mistake, folks, we don’t work for the state legislators; THEY WORK FOR US! We the people deserve leadership that will fight for families and ensure our communities will thrive. Doing what’s right shouldn’t cost money or be done for profit. I will always choose people over profit—every single time.

I am proud to be married to a union worker. I stand with the hard-working men and women who build, teach, and support our communities—electricians, plumbers, police officers, firefighters, teachers, and more. Their work keeps Idaho strong, even though their wages are often below the national average, I am committed to not only addressing this but fighting for better pay!

My name is Letishia. I’m a working-class mom of four and a proud wife running to represent working-class people. The blue-collar way of life is not for the faint of heart, but our resilience and work ethic are unmatched. You can’t have politics without principles, and I am dedicated to working hard for you regardless of color, race, political affiliation, or socioeconomic status.

I am a firm believer in the Golden Rule—TREAT people how you would want to be treated. It’s a simple principle, but one that I feel needs to be reminded of nowadays.

Every voice matters; every vote counts

Note to District 13

I ran in District 10 for the first time in 2024, never thinking I would ever venture into the wild world of politics, but here I am cannonballing right into the deep end yet again. When lawmakers started trampling on our values and future, my decision to run was clear. I can’t and won’t sit back and let my state, my community, or my home be impacted by political parties’ interests! My loyalty will never be to a party. My loyalty lies with hard-working Idahoans. I am a working-class mother of four and a proud wife on a mission to bridge the gap, bringing back the actual values we all once shared, focusing on education, fair pay, and healthcare for all. It’s hard work, but those of us with work ethic know it’s just another day.
